Tulare County Renaissance Fair

The Guild of Saint Mortimer was founded in 1990 to help support the Tulare County Renaissance Fair in its efforts to provide historical reenactments of the Renaissance period. The Guild of Saint Mortimer also travels to many other Renaissance festivals throughout the year. It has always been the goal to provide instruction and entertainment to school aged children and their families by direct interaction with reenactment guilds who provide information relevant to the period portrayed at fair. It is our mission to keep history alive through reenactment, supporting education, Arts and History majors. To serve our community by bestowing grants, and serving as actors for community events.

The Tulare County Renaissance Fair was started twenty seven years ago by a Tulare teacher who financed the original fair on his credit card. It has grown to be one of the largest not for profit fairs in California, servicing between five and ten thousand patrons, depending on the economics of the year. Entertainment includes period jousting, jugglers and daredevils, story tellers, battle reenactments and period encampments that interact with the public.

With greater need of public school funding, many schools have reduced their budgets towards the arts programs. This makes what we do all the more important. In order to continue these events, we need your help. All donations and sponsorships are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

We offer the following Sponsorship packages:

$2,500 – The King

  • Sponsor’s logo on poster
  • Large website logo and link
  • Free 10×10 booth space which must be appropriately decorated for the fair’s theme or 10 free tickets to the Faire
  • Sponsor provided Logo/banner prominently displayed at event
  • Sponsorship of the joust – announcement before each joust, sponsor provided banner displayed prominently at the joust
  • Sponsor’s name prominently mentioned in all press releases and newsletters produced for the event
  • FREE 2×3 Ad in the fair program
  • 20 FREE tickets to the Faire

$2000 – The Queen

  • Sponsor’s logo on poster
  • Large website logo and link
  • Free 10×10 booth space which must be appropriately decorated for the fair’s theme or 10 free tickets to the Faire
  • Sponsor provided Logo/banner prominently displayed at event
  • Sponsorship of one stage – announcement before each act
  • FREE 2×3 Ad in the fair program
  • 20 FREE tickets to the Faire

$1000 – The Duke

  • Sponsor’s logo on poster
  • Website logo and link
  • Free 10×10 booth space which must be appropriately decorated for the fair’s theme or 8 free tickets to the Faire
  • Sponsor provided Logo/banner prominently displayed at event
  • On Stage Recognition
  • FREE 2×3 Ad in the fair program
  • 10 FREE tickets to the Faire

$500 – The Dame

  • Website logo and link
  • Sponsor provided Logo/banner prominently displayed at event
  • On Stage Recognition
  • 4 FREE tickets to the Faire

$300 – The Knight

  • Logo/banner at front of event (primary entrance in the case of events with multiple entrance points)
  • On Stage Recognition
  • 2 FREE tickets to the Faire

$100 – The Peasant

  • Website logo and link
  • A FREE ticket to the Faire
